Glenn Does Big Band?

According to this interview in USA today, Glenn may release an album of big band music! I've been eager for a solo album, but I didn't expect this. My daddy put himself through college playing a trumpet in a big band, so I grew up with that music despite the fact that it was way out of style when I was a kid. I'm jazzed about it!

Also, don't forget, today's the day Long Road Out of Eden hits the shelves at Walmart. Be sure to pick up a copy if you haven't already!

Glenn Does Broadway!

Well, whaddya know! According to this Henley interview, Glenn is going to act in a Broadway play! Sally, the webmistress of Rockphiles, has done some more research and discovered that the play is probably Chicago and the role is probably Billy Flynn. Pretty cool! However, I should note that no official announcement has yet been made, and I'm unsure when his run will start.

New Glenn song clip put up on Eagles MySpace!

A clip of a new Frey song entitled What Do I Do With My Heart can now be heard on the official Eagles MySpace. It's a ballad very similar thematically to Glenn's solo song It's Your Life. It sounds great!
