Even more concerts announced Down Under!

Glenn has added an additional date in Australia and booked two concerts in New Zealand!

The additional show in Australia is in Newcastle at the Civic Theater on Feb. 28, 2013.  (Originally he was scheduled to play in Sydney that night, but that's been moved to Mar. 1 and Mar. 2).  Tickets can be found on Ticketek.  Morgan Evans is the opening act.

The New Zealand shows are in Christchurch and Auckland.  The Christchurch show is Mar. 8 at the CBS Canterbury Arena.  Tickets on sale Nov. 29 through Ticketek.  The Auckland show is at the Vector Arena on Mar. 10.  Tickets on sale Nov. 29 through Ticketmaster.  Dane Rumble is the opening act for both shows.  Additional information for both shows can be found here.

The Associated Press has published an article about Glenn that can be found in most major newspapers today!  It includes a picture of the Eagles doing the benefit concert at the Beacon Theater last night in NYC, and talks about him teaching a songwriting class.  He mentions that a tour for next year is not finalized, but that they'd discuss it in the upcoming days.  The AP article can be found here.

Happy 64th birthday, Glenn Frey!

It's Glenn Frey's birthday today. Here's hoping it's a great one, and that his 64th year turns out to be just as epic as his 63rd one was.
