Steve Martin's Memoir
Apparently Glenn at least gets a mention in Steve Martin's memoir, according to the Columbus Telegram:
"He tells of meeting Glenn Frey at the Troubadour club in Los Angeles and argues with him about the name of Frey’s group. Frey says it is 'Eagles.' Martin insists it’s 'The Eagles.' Martin concludes the anecdote: 'The name of the group, remains, of course, Eagles.'”
Wasn't there some kind of legal reason for that, Steve?
Anyway, not sure if he gets more ink, but it might be worth sneaking a peek at your local bookstore.
